What to Wear to a Paint Splatter Room (Complete Guide)
By Team Splashit · Published 18 Mar 2026 · Last updated 15 Apr 2026

Splashit provides full coveralls, goggles and shoe covers — but paint still finds exposed skin, hair and anything peeking out. Use this checklist before you come in.
What should I wear to a neon splatter room?
- A t-shirt and joggers / shorts you don't care about
- Closed-toe shoes that can get splashed
- Hair tied back if it's long
- No white or brand-new clothing
- Minimal or no makeup
What should I avoid wearing?
- White clothes, white sneakers, white hijabs
- Expensive watches, jewellery or accessories
- Suede, silk, or dry-clean-only fabrics
- Open-toed sandals or heels
Will the paint come out of my hair and skin?
Yes. Splashit's UV paints are water-based and non-toxic — they wash out of most hair and skin with soap and shampoo. Stubborn spots on skin clear in 1–2 washes.
What happens to my valuables?
Every Splashit studio has locked storage for phones, wallets, watches and accessories. Bring your phone into the room at your own risk — paint on screens is hard to clean.
FAQ
Do I need to bring a change of clothes?
Optional but recommended. Most guests stay in their outfit after the session (under the coverall they stay mostly clean), but a fresh top is nice for dinner plans after.
Can I wear my own outfit without the coverall?
You can — the coverall is recommended but not required. Just know that unprotected clothing will take most of the paint.
