At Splashit's Tufting Workshop you learn to use a tufting gun, the same tool used by rug designers on Instagram. You pick a design (or bring your own), trace it onto a tufting frame, load the gun with yarn, and tuft your way to a one-of-one custom rug.
In 90 minutes you'll finish a 1. 5 foot rug that we then trim, glue-back and hand over.

Before you ask,
Do I need prior tufting experience?
No. The session starts with a full hands-on demo. Most first-timers finish their rug inside 90 minutes.
What size rug do I make?
The standard rug size is 1.5 feet (45 cm). Larger sizes are available on request for private and corporate sessions.
Can kids do tufting?
Tufting guns have moving parts and are recommended for ages 14+. Younger kids can watch and help design.
How long does a tufting workshop take?
A standard tufting workshop at Splashit is 90 minutes including design selection, tufting and finishing.
